How to stop or terminate a process in Windows XP or Vista?
Many a times we encounter problems while working on our computer and the computer processes just stop responding. In that case the process refuses to close by simple process that we know. In order to make the system work smoothly, we should close the unresponsive processes so that it does not wastes the RAM memory. To stop or kill the process we will have to use the task manager.
1. Press Shif+Ctrl+Esc or Alt+Ctrl+Del.
2. This will open a Task Manager.
3. Select the process you want to stop or terminate.
4. Click on End Process.
