How to check if someone is invisible or offline in gtalk?
Gmail chat or gtalk has the facility to remain invisible from others when required. Gtalk is a very popular software used now a days to chat with friends and family members online. But many times, we don't want to chat with certain people. In that case, google has given us a facility to remain invisible to others. Others will think that you are offline.
But there is a trick to find out whther a person is really offline or is invisible. You can also find out whether you have been blocked by a user or not. Because if you have been blocked by a user, then you will never see him/her online in you list. That is you will not be able to chat with him/her any more.
How to check an invisible user in gtalk:-
1. Click on the user whom you want to check.
2. Click on options and then on " Go off the record". (This will not save the chat from now onwards in the chat history.)
3. In gmail chat, you and the user both will be shown a message that the future chats with this particular contact will not be saved.
4. Now type in the message.
5. Press enter.
6. If the user is offline, then a mesage will be shown in red that " did not receive your chat " otherwise no message will be displayed to you which means that the user is invisible.
